SENINI · SINCE 1960
Paving expertise, research and family continuity: Sassi di Luce comes from the world of SENINI.
Our story began in 1960 with the manufacture of masonry blocks. Over time, we expanded into interlocking pavers and curbs. People remain at the heart of that journey: skills passed down, ideas taking shape and a continuing curiosity about materials.
Today, with Massimo Senini, we continue the journey started by his father. The well-being of people and the environment continues to guide our vision.
RESEARCH AND MANUFACTURING
From photocatalytic paving to sustainable building materials, we explore how materials can shape new ways of living. Sassi di Luce is part of that journey: bringing photoluminescence into paving and giving outdoor spaces a dimension to discover after sunset.
Research finds its purpose in a place and the people who use it. Every conversation starts with your space, its characteristics and the atmosphere you want to create.
In 2021, we installed photovoltaic systems on our factory roofs. It was another step in our continued investment in manufacturing, looking to the future of materials and our relationship with the environment.
Sassi di Luce expresses that curiosity through the meeting of materials and light: a detail that can change how we experience a surface after sunset.
MILESTONES
1960. SENINI begins manufacturing.
The 1990s. Product ranges expand and specialist installation services develop.
2010. A plant is dedicated to photocatalytic paving.
2015. SENINI supplies Ecotop pavers for the exhibition platform at Expo Milano.
2017. The Tecnocanapa range enters the market.
Today. Materials, design and research continue to guide the company’s journey.
Our expertise comes from working with materials every day. Every outdoor space calls for choices that bring together form, use and landscape. We start with the project’s practical needs: the route to design, the surface to pave and the result to imagine.
With Sassi di Luce, this approach meets photoluminescence. Pebbles embedded in the paver surface absorb light and gradually release it after dark. Paving becomes a feature that gives the garden character after sunset.
Have an idea for an entrance, a path or a hospitality outdoor space? Share photographs, your location and approximate dimensions. Together, we can explore exposure, intended use and neighboring materials, then discuss configurations and supply options suited to the project.
